Check it out!!!
Peace,
I had b roll footage that I haven’t used and dozens of songs that I have no music video for, so I threw something together real quick, just to warm up and get in the flow of making videos again, and …here we go! I hope you enjoy, 1Love.
When I first learned about Trayvon Martin and I actually heard the 911 calls on television I could not believe what I my ears were hearing. What made it more unbelieveable was the part when the newscaster said that Zimmerman was NOT arrested. I was so focused on my own personal economic hustle that it truly caught me by surprise and I haven’t felt this deeply outraged in years. Upon first hearing the news I was speechless and furious, as we all were but the feeling that stood out the most was the feeling of “I had enough!”.
The burdens of a Black person in america; we are feared, profiled, stolen from, exploited, hated, hunted, killed, imprisoned, miseducated, and we are supposed to trust and have faith in the very system that places these burdens on our shoulders, but still we try. As a brotha mentioned on TV, we as Black Men literally have to be aware of the way we physical move our bodies to seem less threatening when in the presence of law enforcement because of their prejudices. Those prejudices is what has kept Zimmerman out of prison.
This crime that occurred in Florida is a smack in the face to all Black People. I believe President Obama should step in. Let’s hope the powers that be correct this atrocity because my internal reaction to this crime and next question is “When do we retaliate? and How do we retaliate?”, and I’m a fairly level headed man, so if I feel that passionately then I’m positive many many more feel the same exact way. When is the last straw?
My prayers go out to the family of Trayvon Martin and all of the families that went through similar pain, also my prayers go out to the entire world and ALL races because if we do not stop the injustice that Black people across the world face everyday then universal law of karma will eventually take over completely, and with this high level of evil committed against people of the color the world as we know it will end, violently.
Stay Tuned and 1Love.

“…the land needed light, God gave us an outlet.”
Minister: “Craig Mack is Dead.”
Minister: What did you used to do when you was in the world?
Craig Mack: Wickedness
Minister: …and what are you doing now?
Craig Mack: Righteousness
Minister: WHOA HALLELUjAH!!!
What happened to Craig Mack??????
Did the ills of the industry send his life into such a whirlwind that years later he joins “Overcomer Ministries”?? Let’s be clear I’m for anyone finding God and/or purpose especially when the goal of that purpose is to help thy fellow man but this isn’t about WHAT he’s doing the real question this poses is HOW did he get there? A man can end up many places 15 years later in life, 15 years is a long time but I wonder why he couldn’t parlay the Bad Boy era into other opportunities? Where was his mind? What the hell was in his contract?? Why are these kind of drastic lifestyle changes so common with Bad Boy artists? Hearing this creates many questions but it definitely increases the value of getting a good lawyer ASAP for any major future business deals. On another note, Craig Mack should watch himself because I heard the minister say “Boy!” with a little too much redneck swag for my taste
Nevertheless Craig Mack is Hip Hop, however short the run and I support the brotha as long as him and the church aren’t trying to blow up anything or kill themselves.

I got this video below from www.Worldstarhiphop.com, but when watching this video two thoughts came to mind 1) Jay-Z, and I’m sure other artists, have transcended racial lines with their music to the point that nearly everyone, white, black, asian, or latin, age 45 and under may know a Jay-Z song or two making him literally a household name (we kinda already knew that), & 2) It’s possible that the white man in the video just heard that Jay Z song on the radio a few times but it’s also possible that he has every Jay Z album that ever came out at his house and he bumps Jay in the crib loud as hell, rollin’ blunts, watching the BET awards, going nuts, and then turns that persona off before he goes to work in the morning. LOL. Just a thought. LOL.
Enjoy!
